Fred Murimi is the Managing Director of Centum Capital, a position he has held since August 2015. He is charged with the responsibility of overseeing the execution of the Centum 3.0 strategy through the development of investment grade opportunities across the eight sectors of focus: Financial Services, FMCG, Power, Real Estate, Agribusiness, Healthcare, Education and ICT. Prior to his appointment to the current position, he was the Company Secretary and Director of Corporate Affairs at Centum. Fred has led the team in centum in concluding a number of exit transactions from the portfolio including its $50m sale of UAP Holdings, $27m sale of Platcorp Holdings and $24m sale of Genafrica Asset Managers. Fred holds a Bachelor of Law Degree from the University of Nairobi, a Masters of Business Administration, is qualified as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and as a Certified Public Secretary (CPS). He is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a member of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) and Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya (ICPSK).
